After eleven years of post-college work in the business community, including participation in several Fortune 150 Company Training Programs, Mr. Kerman decided to pursue a law career. Mr. Kerman is a J.D. and Environmental Law program graduate of Pace University School of Law and he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing from Binghamton University. He is admitted to the bar in both New York and Connecticut.

The law firm Jeffrey worked with was known for providing solutions offering peace of mind to clients by helping them to protect their assets from estate taxation and nursing home costs without their having to surrender their independence and control. Mr. Kerman strives to make people comfortable with the estate and elder law planning process, helps individuals understand the law, and works towards providing Senior Citizens with effective control over their assets while simultaneously enabling them to achieve their estate planning and asset protection goals.

Mr. Kerman has experience in all aspects of estate planning from the simple to the complex, including the preparation of wills, trusts, health care proxies, durable powers of attorney, credit shelter trusts (CSTs), revocable trusts, qualified personal residence trusts (QPRTs), grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), supplemental (special) needs trusts, generation skipping trusts and buy-sell agreements.
